  The following annoucement was released by the FCC today.

AMENDMENT OF PART 97 OF THE COMMISSION'S RULES REGARDING AMATEUR RADIO
SERVICE COMMUNICATIONS DURING GOVERNMENT DISASTER DRILLS.   Proposed
amending the Commission's amateur radio service rules with respect to
amateur radio operations during government-sponsored emergency preparedness
and disaster readiness drills and tests. (Dkt No.  10-72 ).
Action by:  the Commission. Adopted:  03/18/2010 by NPRM. (FCC No.
