The modulation of D-STAR is 4800bps GMSK with 0.5 BT. So if your rig
has bandwidth(in AF, not RF) from 20HZ to 2400Hz(2600Hz is better
than 2400Hz.), you can use D-STAR with my adapter. (Usally, 9600bps
packet is used G3RUH. And the bandwidth of this modulation needs more
wide than D-STAR.)

Yes, it works any band. Only requirement is AF bandwidth of your rig.
If SBB of HF has above requirement, we can use D-STAR in HF. (I ma
nore sure now.)

Yes, alredy we (I and my friends) tested IC-910, FT-817, FT-8000, and
TM833 and so on. But my adapter needs the adjustment of in/out audio
level for each rig. I check the manula of FT-2600.
Packet Tx Data Input (9600bps): Typ. 800mV/600ohm
So you need the adjustment of audio level.
