D-STAR Forums at Dayton 2008
DVD Now Ready

If you missed the D-STAR forums at Dayton this year... or your memory of it 
is kind of a blur... you can relive all four hours, squeezed onto one DVD!

The DVD includes the two-hour Friday Forum, and the two-hour Friday Night 
Event at the Drury Inn. It also has a two-minute clip of the first US/Japan 
D-STAR contact, which took place on Saturday at the Hamvention. Attn: Nate 
WY0X - this is the usual ARVN high quality video and audio, but compressed 
a bit harder than usual to fit on one DVD. Still looks and sounds great.

The DVD is $15 plus $3 shipping (USA). International shipping is a bit 
more, but you guys are beating us to death with the exchange rate, so don't 
complain. (International note: the DVD is produced in standard definition 
NTSC.)

Do not inflict this DVD on your radio club! This is for rabid D-STAR fans 
only. If you want to introduce your club members to D-STAR, check out my 
video Digital Voice for Amateur Radio. But maybe you can invite a bunch of 
other D-STAR users over to recreate your own event. Don't expect the guys 
from Alabama to make you sandwiches.
